From a very young age, I always dreamed of having a store and the opportunity to create. Christmas has always been my favorite time of year—the sparkling lights, shimmering ribbons, beautiful ornaments, and, of course, the music and nostalgic scents that fill the air! As my love and passion for decorating and Christmas grew, my mom gave me free rein to decorate our home. At one point, we had as many as 15 trees, each uniquely themed with carefully chosen ribbons and colors. Combining different elements to create beautiful displays was always fun and exciting, and this experience has had a lasting impact on how I select colors and themes for the storefront each year. My love for design and creativity truly began when I had the chance to work with a family friend in our local grocery store’s floral department throughout high school and college. When I wasn’t busy with basketball or school functions, I was learning invaluable tips and tricks, developing my own unique style, and being encouraged to be bold in my creations. 

 After graduating from college, I spent a few years teaching, but my heart still longed for a store of my own. In the spring of 2009, with the unwavering support of my parents, that dream became a reality when Tiger Lily was born, and we officially opened our doors in early March. Without them, none of this would have been possible, and I will forever be grateful for their love, encouragement, and belief in my vision. Now, 16 years later, Tiger Lily has grown into something truly special, thanks to the continued love and support of friends, family, and the most amazing customers. Each of you has played a role in shaping what Tiger Lily is today, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
